Prepared in terms of Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

This manual enables the public to understand the types of records held by Afrilabel (PTY) Ltd and outlines the legal procedure for requesting access to those records under PAIA and POPIA.

5. Records Held in Accordance with Other Legislation

Where applicable, records are kept in terms of the following South African legislation:

  • Companies Act 71 of 2008
  • Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA)
  • Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA)
  • Income Tax Act 58 of 1962 & Tax Administration Act 28 of 2011
  • Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA)
  • Value Added Tax Act 89 of 1991

6. Categories of Subjects & Records Held

Afrilabel (PTY) Ltd holds the following categories of records:

  • Customer & Commercial Records: Customer names, billing/delivery addresses, contact details, artwork uploads, order histories, invoices, and communication logs.
  • Operational & Technical Records: Supplier records, website technical logs, access controls, payment portal integrations, and software licenses.

7. Processing Personal Information (POPIA)

  • Purpose of Processing: Personal data is processed to manufacture custom orders, fulfill deliveries, process payments, provide support, and comply with tax and statutory obligations.
  • Data Subjects: Individual customers, corporate client representatives, suppliers, and website visitors.
  • Recipient Categories: Trusted service providers (e.g., courier services, payment gateways, hosting infrastructure) legally bound to protect user data.
  • Cross-Border Data Flows: Cloud services or third-party web tools (such as security verification tools or analytics) may process data outside South Africa in compliance with Section 72 of POPIA.
  • Information Security: We employ appropriate SSL encryption, secure payment integrations, password controls, access restrictions, and administrative safeguards to protect data confidentiality.

8. Procedure to Request Access to Records (PAIA Form 2)

To request access to a record held by Afrilabel (PTY) Ltd:

  1. Complete the prescribed PAIA Form 2 (Request for Access to Record), obtainable from the Information Regulator's website.
  2. Submit the completed form along with proof of identity and payment of the prescribed request fee to info@stickertavern.co.za.
  3. Specify the right you wish to exercise or protect and state why access to the requested record is necessary.

We will evaluate the request and notify you of the outcome within 30 days of receiving a properly submitted request.
